Which wouldbe a reason MY results of MRI OF BRAIN do resume two weeks?2 weeks apreds a MRI of brain they say " the results still in process"
Is this simply a slow one or backed up impairs the office? after the vacation, etc or it could mean something?
That depends on the ease went you to your MRI in first place. Unless il's an order of haste and you have an urgency position, your results will be related back to your Dr. in the order in which the MRIS were done.
It depends also of their personnel, etc.
It can depend also of the type of a MRI that also was done. Itself il's something common, of ordinary the radiologue can read them, but with a good Dr., they will want that an expert in the field reading them.
Je've saw MRIS that were read by the radiologues that had totally wrong, and the GP believed it in fact before,
(This demanded a neurosurgeon to read correctly and call the GP to convince them of the facts).
I saw also the results of MRI in 2 hours, and once to even the console where they were done to.
It depends just of a lot of things.
I think that this is normal. My husband was in an accident of motorcycle and it took 2-3 weeks to obtain the return results. ...Which was well. I think if something has Evidemment wrong they contact you MANNER earlier. Good Luck!
