Brain Injuries

In the last years seventy I suffered an injury of serious head. And cela's all I going to say of that!

I heard a day there is that they treat now people with the head injuries serious by:
They put the body in a very cold environment (does not know) for a stationary time. Apparently this slows down the damages to the brain. Do the less complications therefore removed and a quicker restoration time?

Ai-t-j'entendu this correct one? And which are the medical advances in to treat this type of injury of five five years ago?

As a RN that worked in the theater in the past and including neurosurgery, the practice for the operations is to cool the person while falling the temperature in the theater and leave the pt with a single leaf on (it obtains the cold one of dammed there inside).. I snivel says you specifally if the brain that himself is cooled, but the liquids of cooled IV and Corps's temperature can specify if THE external environment needs to be fresher. Memory, the body obtains cooled itself normal one 35.5 - 37 Celsius degrees to approximetly 34 Celsius degrees..

Follow surgery, if the surgeon estimates the person to always be unstable, the pt will be kept gone to sleep in a coma induces, because there is the usage of less than brain when in the induced coma.. (but that not my sector.. should ask you a nurse of ICU or the Doctor)
If someone is in a serious traumatism, the efforts can be let the person keep cools by the liquids of IV and the external environment.. that means that the brain is that you could call a state sleeping to the surgery (the normal case)..

Once surgery is on or when the surgeon or the medical team considers that the pt is rather stable, they chaufferont the person to the interim normal one...

I would imagine this treatment kind is used for the injuries of recent brain, prevent from bleeding cranial. I mets't thinks that it would do does not import what for something that arrived there is a long time.
